Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the public health system used for managing reportable disease data and integrations with CDC. The role involves working closely with public health stakeholders, laboratories, hospitals, HIEs, and internal IT teams to support electronic data reporting, testing, and issue resolution.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex front-end and back-end system issues
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflows
• Research ELR/eCR data issues and validate fixes in QA/staging environments
• Perform SQL queries to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data
• Collaborate with business users, developers, vendors, and policy teams
• Monitor system performance and provide feedback and workarounds

• 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills
• Extensive experience in testing, debugging, and issue resolution
• Experience creating test cases and test scripts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office

• Prior State Government project experience
• Experience in Public Health / Healthcare / Medical Systems

• Mid-Senior level
