Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and Pega frameworks.
Responsibilities- Architect and design business applications using Pega PRPC and Pega frameworks.
- Experience of 8+ years in delivering Pega projects with hands‑on experience in DCO and enterprise.
- Preferred:
Certified Pega Lead System Architect (Part 1 and 2). - Exposure to Pega strategic applications such as Pega Customer Service, Pega Marketing, or Pega industry‑specific applications.
- Knowledge of CDH and Pega Marketing (advantage).
- Experience leading medium to large teams and enforcing Pega best practices & guardrails across development teams.
- Experience analyzing application performance using alerts, logs, advanced SMA, etc.
- Well versed with latest Pega product releases and features; hands‑on experience is an advantage.
- Experience in PRPC integration services, implementing rule‑utility functions, reporting rule types, and core Java programming (J2EE advantage).
- Exposure to implementing Pega COE (advantage).
- Knowledge of mobility implementation and integration with social platforms.
- Strong knowledge of product creation, rule‑set management, and deployment to higher environments.
- Knowledge of dev‑ops usage in Pega (advantage).
- Experience performing gap analysis of business requirements & OOTB features and effort estimation.
- Adopting existing client design patterns and recommendations based on POCs.
- Strong experience scoping, planning, and delivering projects using iterative software development life cycles over multiple release cycles.
- Experience with servlet or enterprise containers such as Jakarta Tomcat, BEA Web Logic, IBM Web Sphere, JBoss; knowledge of deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Solid fundamentals in core Java and object‑oriented concepts.
- Experience with web technologies and developing web applications (advantage).
- Excellent skills with RDBMS tools such as Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, or Sybase; proficiency in SQL commands.
- Experience with client‑side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Knowledge of web services, JMS, middleware tools (Web Methods, Vitria), web frameworks (Struts, Spring), and design patterns such as MVC I, MVC II.
