Data Governance Analyst

Visa:
Open to any visa type with valid work authorization in the USA

• Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
• Establish and manage data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models
• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and integrity across systems
• Develop and enforce data definitions, metadata, and business glossaries
• Support data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.)
• Partner with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to govern data lifecycle
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs
• Manage master data management (MDM) and reference data processes
• Support data audits and risk assessments
• Promote data governance awareness and best practices across the organization

• Bachelor s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or related field
• 8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM)
• Experience with data quality tools and metadata management
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Talend)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics
• Certification in CDMP, DGSP, or similar
• Experience with data lineage and impact analysis
