First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Network Analyst II to join our IT Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring infrastructure network segments. You will provide production support and assist in developing and executing strategic roadmaps focused on network administration and management of associated infrastructure network components and applications (e.g. Network devices such as Firewalls, Routers, Switches, etc.),
Monitoring and Management tools. Network components supported may also include but are not limited to Internet, Third Party Connections, MPLS and VPN connections, and security tools.
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
CompensationThe salary range for this role is $72,000 - $93,000/yr; commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be hired at the level that aligns with their experience.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of equivalent work experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with managing and supporting network systems required. Required experience may be obtained concurrently.
- Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Palo Alto and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors preferred.
- Understanding and experience in infrastructure hardware and software evaluation, selection and implementation.
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving network and/or telecommunications related issues in a timely manner.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and best practices in configuring infrastructure components, along with experience in analyzing, designing, installing, and documenting local, wide, and enterprise-wide data networks and telecommunication systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and troubleshoot network hardware and devices.
- Advanced knowledge in network administration and management tools.
- Working knowledge with network infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools.
- Proficient experience with network solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with end-users.
- Working knowledge of information security and how it relates to management of infrastructure.
- Proficient with system monitoring tools such as Solarwinds.
- Familiar with Project Management concepts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills
