Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead full‑cycle recruiting and onboarding across full‑time, part‑time, internship, and season associate roles. They will drive talent acquisition strategy while delivering a best‑in‑class candidate, hiring manager, and employee experience.

This role will partner closely with leadership to attract top talent, enhance recruiting operations, oversee internship and season associate programs, manage recruiting technology and vendors, and ensure seamless onboarding processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
    • Lead full‑cycle recruiting for full‑time roles including but not limited to intake meetings, job description updates, compensation benchmarking, interviewing, candidate recommendations, reference checks, and offer extensions.
    • Oversee the full‑time onboarding process including but not limited to coordinating start dates, processing new hire documentation in ADP Workforce Now, serving as the primary point of contact for new hires, and delegating onboarding tasks as appropriate.
    • Gather and analyze candidate and hiring manager feedback to continuously improve the recruiting and onboarding experience.
    • Build strong talent pipelines by attending career fairs and developing community partnerships.
    • Partner with organizations such as The Last Mile, The Fehribach Center, and the NBA’s HBCU Fellowship Program to identify and place top talent.
  • Internship & Season Associate Program
    • Lead full‑cycle recruiting for internship roles (spring, summer, fall).
    • Support season associate hiring including requisition creation and offer letter preparation.
    • Interview executive referral candidates and align them with appropriate opportunities based on their experience and skillset.
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for interns and season associates.
    • Track intern hours against departmental budgets and proactively notify managers of overages.
  • Operations, Analytics & Technology
    • Administer recruiting systems and manage vendor relationships including but not limited to Clear Company, Linked In Recruiter, Crosschq, and Harver.
    • Partner with the web development team to manage the PS&E careers website, ensuring that it amplifies the company’s value proposition to potential candidates.
    • Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics such as time to fill, applicant volume, requisition funnel analysis, demographic data, etc.
    • Manage recruiting budgets and provide strategic recommendations during the annual budget cycle.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Manage, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition Specialist, ensuring balanced and sustainable requisition distribution.
    • Train and advise hiring managers on recruiting standards, processes, and best practices.
    • Participate in monthly NBA Talent Acquisition calls to collaborate and remain current on league trends and initiatives.
  • HR Team Support
    • Serve as an ambassador for all HR and company programs to positively impact and reflect PS&E’s culture.
    • Handle employee issues and requests in a positive, professional, and confidential manner.
    • Maintain a detailed understanding of the company handbook, benefit programs, and other policies.
    • Assist the HR team with HR responsibilities and overflow work.
    • Support PS&E’s team culture by providing interdepartmental support when needed, which could include working evenings or weekends.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including direct talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
  • HR certification(s) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies; experience with ATS required and HRIS preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with individuals across varying backgrounds and levels.
