Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for an HR Business Partner. The HR Business Partner will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders on all HR-related matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and maintaining HR policies, managing employee relations, advising on labor and employment laws, and leading performance management initiatives. Additionally, the role involves supporting organizational strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to drive an inclusive and effective workplace culture.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR Policies and Human Resources (HR) best practices
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations and resolving workplace conflicts
  • Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and its practical applications
  • Proficiency in implementing and overseeing Performance Management systems
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across various levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
    Master’s degree a plus
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is preferred
  • Experience in a university or educational setting is a bonus
