Overview
A financial institution under $500 million in assets is seeking an experienced executive leader to serve as Vice President of Human Resources
. This role provides strategic oversight of the organization’s human resources function and partners closely with senior leadership to support a strong, compliant, and people-centered workplace.
- Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the Human Resources function
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and leadership development
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Lead employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement efforts
- Direct compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategy
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing HR team
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with organizational goals
- Align HR strategies and initiatives with the institution’s long-term business objectives
Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and professional HR certifications are preferred.
On-site RequirementThis position will be on site, and no relocation will be offered. Candidates must live in Northwest Indiana.

A comprehensive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate. The base salary range for this role is $115,000 – 135,000 per year.
