Overview

This role will be a full-time day shift position working Monday
- Friday in a hybrid capacity with on-site expectations as needed.

This role will specifically support recruitment for Clinical Specialty roles throughout the IU Health system. The clinical specialty team recruits for positions such as nurse educators, case managers, radiology techs, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, medical assistants, and social workers, to name a few.

This is a full-cycle recruitment role which includes conducting thorough intake conversations with the hiring leader, designing and posting positions, sourcing, reviewing and screening applicants, consulting on candidate selection, completing offer processes and maintaining business partner relationships with key stakeholders and hiring leaders.

The Talent Acquisition Consultant in this role will apply basic total rewards strategies to ensure a compensation package is market competitive for the position, aligns with customer expectations, and aligns with candidate skills and abilities.

A successful Talent Acquisition Consultant assists with workforce planning analysis to ensure the right recruiting strategies are in place and executed effectively, guides leaders in selecting the best talent, provides team member support, and provides other project management support as requested by their leader, particularly surrounding passive candidate sourcing strategies, data reporting, maintaining and analyzing recruitment data to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and improving the overall recruitment process.

A key component of this role is providing a thought process partnership and consulting on sourcing and recruiting top talent.

We are looking for individuals with:
  • Minimum 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Adaptability, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using various recruiting platforms and applications
  • Market knowledge in sourcing top talent
  • Demonstrated use of data and analytics to inform recommendations and experience reporting out to stakeholders
  • Strong abilities to partner successfully with key stakeholders and build long-term, trusting relationships
  • Compassion, empathy, professionalism and integrity
  • Previous healthcare recruiting experience preferred

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required or equivalent years of experience
  • Requires knowledge in passive sourcing concepts
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.)
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and using an applicant tracking system
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; previous recruiting experience preferred, healthcare setting preferred
  • Requires talent acquisition experience within a matrixed organization
