Talent Manager, Recruiter, HR Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

- Develop and execute recruiting strategies
- Network through construction societies and associations
- Develop robust pipeline of construction talent
- Work closely with the Manager of University & Trade School Relations as well as the Director of Military Relations to coordinate recruiting efforts across the United States
- Work with hiring manager to develop individual recruiting strategies as needs occur
- Conduct intake meetings to develop job descriptions, salary ranges, and recruitment timeline
- Post positions in all applicable venues
- Track candidates appropriately in the Applicant Tracking System
- Select and interview the best candidates and coordinate with hiring managers to set up interviews
- Maintain all applicant and interview data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- Prepare, seek approval for, and deliver offer letters
- Once candidates accept offers, work with the Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist to onboard new employees
High School Diploma
Position RequirementsREQUIREMENTS:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
- High school diploma or equivalent with a preference for a Bachelor or Master's degree in business, construction, or human resources
- Minimum of 8 years of corporate recruiting experience in construction, renewables, or similar industry OR minimum of 10 years' experience as a construction manager with an interest in moving into a corporate recruiting role
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and in a team environment
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior recruiters
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to communicate with all levels of a heavy civil construction and renewables company
PREFERENCES:
- Bachelor or master's degree in business, construction, or human resources
- Ability & willingness to work at the corporate office of IEA in Indianapolis, IN
