Position Responsibilities

The IEA Corporate HR Training Specialist serves as support to the Training & Development team. Responsible for a variety of training related administrative duties to support the needs of the apprenticeship & mentorship programs, learning management system, as well as the administrative contact for training records to meet needs of our growing construction organization. The position provides outstanding HR & Training services to a multi‑state, multi‑entity family of Companies.

This role is key to maintaining training documents in a secure and compliant fashion as well as provides back up support to other functions on an as‑needed basis.

  • Provide reports regarding employee training completion on an as‑needed basis
  • Assist in coordinating onsite/offsite trainings logistics including catering, training facilities, etc.
  • Support the implementation of annual compliance trainings including creating, maintaining, and assisting employees with their accounts
  • Work with Sr. Director of Organizational Development in prioritizing and coordinating training requests
  • Aid in creation and review of new training materials
  • Partner with other departments on an as‑needed basis to provide training support
  • Travel up to 15% of the time to assist in presenting employee trainings
  • Submit requests and maintain records of those completing external training courses
  • Complete monthly expense reports for department card
  • Update department expense tracker
  • Compile other miscellaneous items/tasks for specific trainings
Education

Bachelor's Degree

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred but not required
  • 0 to 3 years previous Human Resources or related experience
  • Professional HR Certification desired, or at minimum the desire to obtain certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
    Excellent Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
