Room Attendant - InterContinental Indianapolis

Overview

Room Attendant – Inter Continental Indianapolis at IHG Hotels & Resorts. Role focused on keeping guest rooms fresh and welcoming for visitors, supporting a comfortable and productive stay.

• Ensure rooms are at their best and create a special and memorable experience for guests.
• Assist guests with needs such as toiletries or directions.
• Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and report repairs needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required.
• Stay organized by managing supplies and amenities and minimizing waste.
• Reunite items with owners and log any lost and found property.
• Maintain a smart appearance in uniform.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as tasks arise.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities across housekeeping areas.
• Report, log, and turn in all lost and found items according to procedures.
• Work as part of a team and coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects and with turndown duties.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

• Physical role requiring you to be on your feet most of the day.
• Strength with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or pushing/pulling heavy objects.
• Ability to bend and kneel as needed.
• Literacy skills – reading, writing and basic math.
• Flexible attitude to shifts; may require nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• The hourly pay rate for this role is $16.
