Job Responsibilities:
-Applies knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic images with use of professional knowledge to meet or exceed department guidelines.
-Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional competence through participation in continuing education.
-Takes a customer service approach in all interactions with internal and external customers.
-Communicates clearly and concisely with all levels of individuals while complying with confidentiality requirements.
-Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age related needs of the patients served in the assigned practice. These skills include: age appropriate communication skills, safety needs, patient teaching, and physical/functional growth and development.
-Use imaging equipment, PACS and EPIC to process and retain images and exam related information.
-Use radiation safety technique and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
Shift: 6:30a-5p 4 days a week. It s every 3rd weekend of call and 1-2 days a week from 5p-6:30a
Required:
BLS, ARRT (VI), KY license
Required
Skills & Experience:
-One (1) year of interventional radiology experience
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-BLS.
-State Radiology Technologist License.
-ARRT (R).
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
-ARRT (VI) within 18 months
