The Hope Source, acclaimed for its comprehensive treatment and educational services for individuals with ASD, invites a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. With our collaboration with Dynamic Minds Academy, we offer a unique hybrid model that combines evidence-based therapies with educational services, ensuring continuity of care and positive, lasting outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Individualized Care
:
Evaluate and design tailored treatment plans and IEP goals. - Evidence-Based Practice
:
Deliver interventions targeting motor deficits, self-regulation challenges, and daily life skills. - Collaborative Teamwork
:
Train and support clinicians and educational staff, and actively participate in the Case Conference Committee. - Supervision
:
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists for supervision, ensuring excellence in patient care. - Record Keeping
:
Maintain meticulous client records, track progress, and update treatment plans. - Billing and Documentation
:
Efficiently handle weekly billing processes. - Team Communication
:
Work closely with a dynamic team of professionals to provide cohesive client support.
- Licensure
:
Must possess and maintain an Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification. - Experience
:
Preferably two years, with a focus on ASD in ages 5-21. Experience with other developmental disorders also valued. - Education
:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or Bachelor's Degree in a related field. - Background Check
:
Must clear an Indiana Criminal background check. - Passion for the Role
: A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young adults.
