This position is full time, days, at Methodist Hospital. Independently performs simple and/or complex IONM cases in OR and IR with minimal technical supervision and provides accurate, high quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Trains and precepts junior team members. Demonstrates willingness to learn new skills. Communicates effectively with all physicians. Performs simple troubleshooting, modifies monitoring programs as needed. Promotes cooperative working relationships.

• Independently perform simple and/or complex intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) cases in operating room (OR) and interventional radiology (IR).
• Provide accurate, high quality neurodiagnostic testing and data acquisition.
• Train and precept junior technologists.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia, and oversight neurologists per guidelines.
• Perform troubleshooting (electrode issues, computer problems, artifact identification) and adjust monitoring protocols as needed.
• Maintain professional, cooperative relationship with team and patients.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant IONM experience.
• Registry in CNIM required.
• Meets all competency requirements for the registry.
• Ability to apply tests and modify protocols per patient needs.
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, ability to focus under stress.
• Strong data acquisition, analysis, troubleshooting skills.
• Ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages.
• Current BLS certification.
