Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• First time travelers accepted
• On call every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, and state license
• Skills required:
  
  Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Nephogram, Peripherals, Drainages, Upper and Lower Extremity, Abd and Pelvic, Vascular Studies, Venous Access, Neurological Studies
• Work with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and other scrubs
• Handle Level 1 trauma, PE, and stroke cases
• Perform vascular and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, thrombectomy procedures, stent placements, and central line insertions
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts during pay period or added to end of contract
