Location: Indianapolis

Minimum Requirements: The Therapeutic Supports Team Leader must have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or Special Education. At least 5 years’ experience providing behavioral support services to individuals with /D and supervisory experience is preferred. The Therapeutic Supports Team Leader must be responsible, mature and flexible; must possess excellent decision-making, time management and communication skills. The Therapeutic Supports Team Leader must be able to respond calmly to crisis situations;

demonstrate the ability to direct others in a confident, respectful manner and exercise good judgment in interactions with residents, families, employees, peers and regulatory agency personnel. The Therapeutic Supports Team Leader must appropriately handle confidential information. The Therapeutic Supports Team Leader must have a reliable form of transportation and possess a valid state driver’s license, maintain full personal automobile insurance coverage and a driving record which allows candidate to be covered by the company’s insurance policy.

  • Ensure thorough and complete training of new employees.

  • Monitor employee development activities and ensure in-services are provided to meet the company’s requirements.
  • Complete and conduct performance evaluations with employees on a timely basis.
  • Function as a role model and a company resource to assist employees and office personnel.

  • Advise appropriate Human Resources and management personnel of any issues affecting employee morale or the working relationships within the management group.
Process
  • Know and ensure implementation of all company policies and procedures.
  • Routinely review reports and data related to compliance and quality improvement.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date for each client as appropriate.
  • Ensure comprehensive and succinct progress notes are completed for each client.
  • Provide trainings as requested by Director for internal and external customers, as well as other co-workers.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Profit
  • Understand the impact of productivity and other costs associated directly or indirectly with the company.
  • Maintain assigned productivity percentage.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity (billable time) expectation of 45% or above.
  • Ensure direct reports are meeting or exceeding established productivity standards.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of supplies and resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Ensure the submission of paperwork to the Via Quest billing department as appropriate.
  • Monitor budget and review financial reports as assigned.
  • Assist direct reports in the planning and facilitation of company growth.
Quality
  • Monitor the quality of all aspects of supports and services and participate in quality assurance reviews according to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the services provided as outlined in the individual’s service plan.
  • Adhere to all safety standards including but not limited to maintaining a safe work environment, reporting any problems or concerns through the appropriate channels, participating in company-sponsored safety-initiatives.
  • Comply with ethical standards as per di scipline.
