Location: Indianapolis

In our Plasma Centers, licensed medical professionals including paramedics, LPNs, LVNs and RNs play a critical role.

Everything from evaluating donor suitability for automated apheresis, administering and supervising approved immunizations, through providing limited emergency medical care to donors and staff within license.

Your judgement keeps people safe and therapies moving to patients worldwide.

What you can expect
  • Work day and evening hours only.
    No overnight shifts required.
    Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available.
  • Fewer clinical responsibilities and no bedside care required. Emergency care is limited to the scope of your license.

Key responsibilities
  • Evaluate donor suitability through medical history reviews and interviews.
  • Provide emergency medical care and treatment within scope of licensure.
  • Review test results and manage donor notifications, including counseling for reactive results.
  • Collaborate with Center Medical Director on medical decisions and donor suitability assessments.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and manage critical medical situations appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program.
  • If graduation is from a foreign allopathic or osteopathic medical school, must also be licensed as a physician or have state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience.
  • Ability to make and analyze a physical assessment of heart, lung sounds, signs of drug use, etc.
