Purification Scientist

Overview

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to make life and the environment safer and healthier. Eurofins laboratories work with global companies to ensure products are safe, ingredients are authentic, and labeling is accurate.

• Execute automated protein purifications using chromatographic techniques, tangential flow filtration (TFF), and AKTA systems
• Characterize protein solutions using Agilent HPLC and SDS-PAGE
• Perform routine analytical measurements (pH, UV-Vis, HPLC)
• Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipment
• Clean and maintain AKTA systems (including CIP procedures)
• Document assay data and contribute to study reports

• Maintain accurate records in electronic lab notebooks
• Participate in investigations and ensure adherence to GLP and company policies

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry lab experience
• OR
• Master’s degree in a related field

• Requires hands-on lab experience with:
• Protein purification

• Strong scientific, organizational, and computer skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality data delivery

• The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
