As a Patient Care Coordinator for a leading practice, you will be vital in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care throughout their journey, from initial consultation to ongoing support. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate assistance and guidance with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels between patients, provider and administrative staff.
  • Schedule appointments for initial consultations, fittings, and follow-up visits with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate appointment reminders and ensure timely follow-ups to minimize scheduling conflicts and missed appointments.
  • Educate patients about options, including features, benefits, and pricing, while providing empathetic support throughout decision-making.
  • Address patient concerns and questions regarding insurance coverage, financing options, and warranties professionally.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Process necessary paperwork related to appointments, billing, and insurance claims with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Process payment transactions and maintain accurate accounts.
  • Assist in explaining pricing and payment options and facilitating a seamless purchasing experience.
  • Track orders and inventory and verify insurance information from the billing department.
  • Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, senior centers, and other community organizations to expand our patient base and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of patients with loss.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or a related field preferred.
