Overview
Advanced Recovery Systems is seeking an experienced preliminary and independently licensed clinician to join our Residential Treatment Center in Indianapolis, IN. The clinician will work Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, with a schedule available. We are an integrated behavioral healthcare management company focused on addiction, substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health issues. We provide evidence‑based care to help men, women and adolescents live healthier lives, and we collaborate with treatment teams to support patient care across facilities nationwide.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director
- Manage a patient caseload and provide group, individual, and family therapy
- Conduct psychosocial and biopsychosocial assessments
- Collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan
- Assist in coordinating discharge planning
- Maintain primary communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed
- Master's Degree with appropriate licensure/certification as per State regulations
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience in the mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)
- Licensed in the state of Indiana with one of the following licenses:
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
- LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
- LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
- LCAC (Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor)
- LCACA (Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor Associate) / LMSW (Licensed Masters Social Worker) / APC (Associate Professional Counselor) / AMTF (Associate Marriage & Family Therapist)
- Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws
- Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards
