Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (management still determining shift). If this is a second‑shift position, the employee will receive a shift differential: base pay $17 per hour, differential $18.36 per hour.

Position SummaryThis role is responsible for performing a variety of processes in the wet chemistry departments of the laboratory. The primary responsibility is data entry (entering demographic information into our LIMS, ordering testing, and preparing initial qualitative aliquots). The employee may be cross‑trained to other areas in the laboratory.

Duties & Responsibilities- Quantitatively aliquots blood and urine specimens for testing.
- Quantitatively aliquots controls and standards for use during testing.
- Performs liquid‑liquid, solid‑phase, and protein precipitation extractions on specimens.
- Disposes of specimens properly.
- Performs data entry of casework.
- Participates in improvement of analytical methodologies.
- Follows established SOPs, laboratory and chemical safety procedures, and documentation procedures.
- Completes assignments based on priorities and deadlines.
- Identifies problems that may adversely affect test performance and takes appropriate action.
- Continually looks for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Other duties or tasks assigned by designated personnel.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Skill Requirements- Knowledge of basic chemistry principles, concepts, and methodology.

- Computer Skills – Knowledge of LIMS database software and all Microsoft Office Suite products.

Minimum Requirements
Prefer at least a 2‑year degree in Life Science.
