Job Summary
This position independently provides support to the bioanalytical laboratory and facilitates the successful conduct of studies.
EssentialJob Duties
- Displays good working knowledge of routine use and maintenance of equipment relevant to area
- Performs equipment verifications and calibrations (pipettes, balances, pH meters, plate readers, etc)
- Prepares reagents, buffers, and other study related solutions as needed
- Provides general lab cleaning, expired reagent monitoring, and glassware washing
- Manages the inventory, ordering, E-Workbook registration, storage, organization, and disposal of laboratory supplies, including critical reagents, chemicals, consumables, and matrix
- Performs test article / reference material weighings, if appropriate
- Performs freezer and refrigerator maintenance, oversees organization
- Maintains water systems, performs readings, or sends samples out for testing
- Provides ideas, supports, and participates in process improvement initiatives
- Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment; demonstrates understanding of Health and Safety compliance by ensuring policies/SOPs and training are up to date
- May train or assist less experienced staff
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in related field
- High School diploma / educated to A-level or equivalent plus 1-2 years of laboratory experience or Associate Degree in related field

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour
