Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse. The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic‑ and community‑based services.

About School‑Based ServicesThe School‑Based Services team provides behavioral health support directly within partnered schools, offering accessible, trauma‑informed care to students who may be struggling with mental health, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Our mission is to meet students where they are, reduce barriers to care, and collaborate with educators and families to support academic success, emotional well‑being, and long‑term stability. As part of Eskenazi Health’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), our team is committed to delivering integrated, evidence‑based treatment rooted in the Recovery Model.

As a Clinician – School‑Based (CCBHC), you will perform a variety of individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence‑based practices. This position manages a caseload of clients, identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated.
What To ExpectA key aspect of this role includes building strong relationships with students, families, educators, and clinical partners. You will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, deliver therapy within the school environment, and intervene during times of crisis. Your work ensures students have personalized, strengths‑based care that promotes their academic, social, and emotional well‑being. You will also support ongoing care coordination, skill development, and safety planning while maintaining adherence to CCBHC requirements.
AmI Qualified?
- Master's degree in Human Services field
- Candidates with a Master's of Social Work must have Licensed Social Work (LSW) and be working towards Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
- Candidates must have submitted a plan to obtain licensure at the soonest date possible, within a maximum of three years
- Valid Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving policy requirements

- Completes biopsychosocial evaluation (BPSE), integrating information gathered by the team and developing the integrated diagnostic summary; based upon the BPSE and in consultation with the treatment team, prepares Clinical Treatment plans, dates the treatment plan at intervals determined by guidelines, and consults with client, family, and treatment team throughout the process
- Manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs; engages other team members in meeting these needs as indicated
- Performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions (as demonstrated competency allows) utilizing evidence‑based practices
- Provides quality case management services as indicated by client need
