The facility is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide outpatient neuro‑focused speech and language pathology services. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients with primarily neurological diagnoses. This role supports the delivery of high‑quality rehabilitative care and requires strong clinical reasoning, patient‑centered communication, and the ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.

This assignment supports an immediate need for an SLP with neuro experience to join the outpatient rehabilitation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement speech and language pathology services for outpatient neuro patients
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy targeting speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Document care accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams to support patient progress
  • Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home programs
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
  • Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection‑control guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Shift Schedule

Shift: Day Shift

Hours:

40 hours per week

Weekends/Holidays:
As required by facility needs

Minimum Requirements
  • Meets education and experience requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
  • Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program
  • Current state licensure or certification as an SLP
  • One year of prior SLP experience preferred
  • Neuro experience preferred; minimum one year of practice after graduation
  • Current CPR (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
  • Current health certificate (per state/contract regulations)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation Packages

Local SLP Pay Rate: $50 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000

Travel SLP Hourly Pay: $32.50 Meals: $483 Housing: $889 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,672

Facility Information

This role is located at a neuro‑focused outpatient rehabilitation facility specializing in the treatment of patients with neurological diagnoses. The SLP will work within a collaborative rehab environment supporting cognitive‑communication, speech, language, and swallowing rehabilitation.
