Life Line Manager

The Manager-Life Line holds a formal leadership position within Life Line. Under the direction of the Director this position has 24/7 responsibility for the execution of specific job duties related to the bases of operation in specific IU Health and Life Line assigned regions. This position provides direct support and oversight to associated supervisors and clinical team members throughout their assigned area.
The Manager-Life Line will function as a direct liaison between IU Health Life Line and IU Health system services and partners to include Human Resources. They will maintain ownership and direct accountability for team member development, experience, engagement, recruitment, and retention. This leader will serve as the IU Health Life Line liaison to clinical partners in their assigned area of operation.
The Manager-Life Line will ensure that safe, quality patient care is achieved through operational excellence, support, and compliance. They will serve as a champion for the IU Health Values and maintain constant focus on both team member and customer experience.

Candidate QualificationsCandidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
- Requires a current Paramedic or Respiratory Therapist license/certification, or an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in a health care related field required or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 years patient transport experience required; 5 years relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of State and federal regulatory agency guidelines or laws relative to assigned area required.
- Extensive travel required to various bases up to four or more times per week.
