The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the front-facing representative for patients seeking diagnostic services. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality phlebotomy
, specimen preparation, and patient-centered care while adhering to strict safety, quality, and confidentiality standards
. This position supports coverage during FMLA leave and plays a key role in maintaining patient satisfaction and operational continuity in a fast-paced clinical environment
.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections
  , including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures
• Verify patient demographics, specimen labeling, and obtain patient signature post-collection
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Complete daily activities accurately and on time under direction of the area supervisor
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient environment
• Provide float coverage across PSC and In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed
• Exercise sound judgment when making decisions within established procedures
• Communicate openly and professionally with patients, peers, and supervisors
• Adapt to changing schedules, staffing needs, and workload priorities

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Keyboarding and data entry proficiency

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training
• Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA; preferred elsewhere)
• Minimum 2 years of PSC experience
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
• Commitment to company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct
• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability
