Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Senior Health Physicist located in Greater Indianapolis. The Senior Health Physicist will be responsible for overseeing radiation safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting radiation surveys, and managing radioactive materials. The role also includes implementing safety protocols, providing training for staff, and collaborating with various departments to ensure safe operation practices involving radiopharmaceuticals.
Qualifications- Experience in conducting radiation surveys and managing radioactive materials
- Ability to oversee radiation safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Skills in implementing safety protocols and providing training for staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiological Sciences, or related field;
Master's degree preferred - Professional certification such as CHP (Certified Health Physicist) is a plus
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is beneficial
