Make a DifferenceThe Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.
Responsibilities• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams.
• Provide correct patient identification; technique, education, instruction, and transportation as necessary.
• Operate all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique.
• Serve as preceptor for imaging procedures.
- Exceptional communication and patient care skills
- Aptitude toward the team philosophy
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Sterile procedure compliance
- Meets all computer and documentation competencies
- Education:
Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program preferred - License Requirements:
Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position)
