Job Title: Registered Sonographer

Role: We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Registered Sonographer to join our team at SQ Med Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients and healthcare facilities. As a Registered Sonographer, you will utilize your expertise to capture clear and precise images that aid in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and echocardiography, as needed.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring its accuracy and safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well‑being of patients and staff.
• Stay updated on the latest advances in sonography technology and techniques.
• Train other technologists as required.

• The role of a Registered Sonographer requires the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting and positioning of patients may be necessary.
• Must have the physical dexterity to manipulate ultrasound equipment and perform precise imaging.

• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• ARDMS
• CCI - RCIS

Valid state licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
