The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders.

• Ability to scan General, OB, and Vascular Studies; willingness to train the right candidate; excellent communication and patient care skills; team-oriented
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Provides correct patient identification, education, instruction, and transportation as necessary
• Serves as a preceptor for imaging procedures
• Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies
• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
• License:
  Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound required; if hired without a license, ARDMS, ARRT(S), or CCI certification must be obtained within 24 months
• Willing to cross-train the right candidate; enthusiastic about Ultrasound
