S&K Building Services is a fast‑growing, multi-location commercial services company committed to delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience. As we continue to expand, we are building a best‑in‑class Customer Success function that sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and customer experience.
We are seeking a Customer Success & Receivables Manager to lead our A/R function and oversee the Customer Success team responsible for billing accuracy, collections, customer communication, and cross‑branch support. This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful influence on cash flow, customer satisfaction, and operational processes.
What You'll Do- Lead the end‑to‑end accounts receivable process across multiple locations—from invoicing to collections and cash application.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the Customer Success team, setting performance expectations and workflows.
- Ensure accurate, on‑time invoicing and customer‑first collection practices.
- Monitor A/R aging, unapplied cash, credits, and escalations to protect and improve cash flow.
- Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and branch leadership to resolve billing issues and prevent recurrence.
- Build, document, and refine Customer Success and A/R processes as the company scales.
- Produce, analyze, and report on key A/R and customer service metrics.
- Oversee a shared, multi-branch inbound communication model while maintaining a strong local customer experience.
- Monitor call volume, responsiveness, and handoffs to identify staffing and process improvement opportunities.
- 5+ years of accounts receivable experience; leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, credit/collections practices, and internal controls.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and effective in fast‑paced environments.
- Ownership‑driven with a focus on outcomes.
- Confident communicator with customers and internal teams.
- Process‑minded with a track record of improving systems and workflows.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Quick Books or similar).
- Experience in shared services, call centers, or centralized customer support environments.
- Experience in field services, facilities services, or other multi-location organizations.
- Exposure to shared-services finance models.
- Experience scaling teams, processes, or systems in a growing business.
- A degree in Accounting
