Our mission is to enhance the accuracy, fairness, and transparency of officiating across various sports, providing tools and analytics that empower officials, coordinators, and administrators. RQ+ is searching for a full‑time RQ Pay and Finance Specialist to work on‑site in the Indianapolis, IN office.
Job SummaryThe RQ Pay and Finance Specialist will focus both on the RQ Pay platform and the internal financial operations of RQ+. The role will require frequent communication with administrators in conference offices and athletics departments as well as officials. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding of both collegiate sports and financial concepts.
Key Responsibilities 1. RQ Pay- Interact and communicate directly with conferences, institutions and official’s coordinators, working hand‑in‑hand to teach and train clients on RQ Pay tools
- Effectively manage relationships with key users of the RQ Pay platform
- Manage RQ Pay accounts through onboarding clients to RQ Pay and maintaining their RQ Pay accounts
- Assist team in providing RQ Pay demonstrations and working with prospective clients
- Provide input to product development team on additional features for, or improvements to, existing RQ+ financial tools
- Assist CFO and finance team in preparing financial accounting reports and tax filings
- Effectively complete frequent special projects (e.g., financial forecasting, pricing models, contract review, invoicing)
- Participate in discussions and analysis of RQ+ growth opportunities
- Communicate thoughtful opinions on financial planning decisions to CFO
- Occasional travel (less than 10%)
- 3+ years of finance or accounting experience or 3+ years of experience in intercollegiate sports
- Effective communicator (written and verbal) with clients and co‑workers
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or similar field is preferred (CPA or JD is a plus)
- Familiarity of sports sector, particularly collegiate sports
- Officiating experience in any sport is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices
