We are currently seeking a Part-time Financial Analyst to join our team.

On-Site Expectations:

On-site role Monday – Friday 7am – 11am.

Your Role at Batesville:

As a Part-Time Financial Analyst
, you will be responsible for assisting daily, weekly and monthly reporting, including analysis of monthly operating results and variances. This role will assist with month end close. The analyst also assists with weekly payroll processing/submission for plant employees. The position works with plant management. This individual may participate in special projects within the Finance and Accounting area, and perform other ad hoc requests as needed.

  • This position is part-time with 20 hours expected weekly. The position does not include health care or other benefits.
What You’ll Do:
  • Generate reports that help provide insight into plant performance.
  • Complete monthly journal entries and assigned portions of monthly close process.
  • Generate monthly variance analyses, reporting diagnostic measures for policy deployment.
  • Maintain and develop financial models to support decision-making.
  • Assist with generation of the Financial Business Plan and revised forecasts for defined areas of the company.
  • Provide ad hoc reports as required and other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring :
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university, with coursework in financial accounting, managerial accounting.
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Nice to Haves:
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP or Accounting software (e.g. JD Edwards).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products, with advanced skills in Excel.
