Renaissance Benefits is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our growing team!
At Renaissance, the Senior Financial Analyst role supports financial strategy and growth through reporting, analysis, budgeting, and expense management. The role supports internal and external customers. This position is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about using data to influence business outcomes.
What will this role entail?
- Prepares monthly management reports, Board documents, and reporting for outside partners.
- Supports the annual budget and forecast.
- Analyzes and reports on premium/revenue and direct expenses focusing on trends and variances.
- Communicates cost and expense variances; compile cost accounting reports and collaborates on cost containment initiatives.
- Builds and maintains dashboards and reports to deliver financial insights.
- Compiles information for audits and regulatory filings.
- Continuous improvement minded, streamlining financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of financial processes.
- Provides financial guidance to project teams and coordinates work without direct authority.
- Delivers ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Trains/cross-trains as needed. Demonstrates flexibility by assisting with tasks and projects outside primary responsibilities when needed to support team success.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and/or Vena a plus.
- Independent and collaborative work skills.
- Capability to resolve problems and use independent judgment.
- Ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Technical
Qualifications:
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in:
Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar role
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong Data Management capabilities
- Experience with financial/ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion, Peoplesoft)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI/Fabric, Tableau)
Base Salary Range: $90,
