We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Indianapolis employer seeking an Assistant Controller. This role supports the Controller in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while managing staff and driving process improvements.
Base Pay Range$100,000 - $120,000 per year
LocationIndianapolis, IN
Responsibilities- Assist with managing AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
