Access Representative - Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Location: Indianapolis
Job Summary: Join Cummins Behavioral Health Systems as an Access Representative, assisting consumers with registration, scheduling, and phone inquiries at one of our Outpatient office locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and ensure sign-in procedures are followed
- Answer and transfer phone calls, check voicemail, and follow up as needed
- Guide new consumers through the intake process, collect insurance information, set up new consumer charts, assist with all necessary paperwork
- Check in consumers for appointments, collect fees, update consumer information, and get documents signed as needed
- Schedule and reschedule appointments, print future appointments/excuse letters
- Send, scan, and log documents into the chart
- Experience in a medical or behavioral health office is a plus, but not a requirement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Friendly, welcoming, and eager to help others
- Respectful customer service
- Organized and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills
