Geotechnical Engineering Intern

Location: Indianapolis

Resource International, Inc., a multi-disciplined civil engineering firm, is seeking a Geotechnical Intern for our Columbus, Ohio operations. Ideal candidate will be seeking a BSCE and or MSCE with a concentration in geotechnical engineering.

Work history in geotechnical engineering a plus, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The primary responsibilities for this position include geotechnical lab testing and field logging of soil samples, analyses and calculations associated with subsurface investigations for public and private projects. Knowledge and experience in foundation analyses, slope stability evaluations, and pavement design are a plus.

Qualifications &

Education:

• Previous Co-op or Internship experience in geotechnical engineering a plus,
• Ohio and regional-based geotechnical knowledge strongly desired
• Education:
  
  Seeking Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering required; focus on Geotechnical or Construction Engineering preferred
