As we enter a new year of the NSK Internship Program, we are looking for highly motivated, hardworking individuals who like to problem solve, lead projects, participate in key business leader relationships, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
ResponsibilitiesWith the support of your manager, you will be tasked with a project where you will develop your skills and share the results of your project with our executive leadership team. As an intern at NSK, you will work cross-functionally and will have the opportunity to collaborate with the other interns across the region and participate in various activities including social and community service events throughout the summer!
Potential Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering services for less complex technical problems and recommend a course of action.
- Provide engineering services for more complex problems under direct guidance of higher-level Engineer.
- Take an active part in the execution of product development projects.
- Assist Engineers on technical service initiatives with sampling, analysis, and recommendations.
- Develop and integrate product and process documentation ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Provide project status, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering; ideally Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical.
- Completed at least Freshman year of undergraduate course work and enrolled in Engineering major from an accredited school.
- Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures.
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks (May through August).
- GPA of at least 3.0 at an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Basic understanding of production processes.
- Strategic and creative thinking.
- CAD experience.

Compensation$17-$22.80/Hour
