Civil Water Resource Engineer-1 Job Description

Our client, a fast‑growing family company, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in water resources to join their team and lead teams and projects. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are passionate about civil engineering and looking to grow their careers with a reputable organization.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Complete technical design, engineering calculations, and communications duties on a wide array of engineering projects, including treatment facilities, stormwater management for site projects and during construction, pump stations, and distribution/collection networks.
  • Collaborate with team members as well as work independently to constructively approach challenges and develop solutions
  • Ability to be versatile in duties and able to manage multiple tasks while adhering to timely completion of such tasks
  • Coordinate with technical personnel to develop construction documents and specifications under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering disciplines.
  • 0-4 years relevant work experience and have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
  • Experience in utilizing modeling software such as Water Cad, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ICPR and design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D are encouraged but not required.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills to encourage development into a Professional Engineer that will effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Desire to obtain Professional Engineer certification is encouraged.
