Patriot Engineering and Environmental is growing and is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our talented and impactful team to be based out of Indiana. Long-term career opportunities are available, as well as project-specific experiences. Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, Patriot Engineering and Environmental is an Employee Owned, diverse engineering firm with a multi-state locations and presence providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing services and consultation to commercial, industrial and governmental clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding inspection on project sites
  • Welding inspection at fabrication shops
  • Qualifying welders for projects
  • Visual inspection
  • WPS verification
Qualifications
  • Experience with structural components utilizing AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5 codes
  • NDE certificates a plus
  • Experience on large projects a plus
  • OSHA training and certs a plus
  • Experience with utility, process, and sanitary piping
  • Overtime and after-hours work are available and sometimes required.
  • Weekend availability based on business needs is required.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
