Control Engineer
Job Type: Onsite - Indianapolis, IN
Job Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Responsibilities- Perform process mapping and optimization on existing controls schema
- Develop custom machine control system changes (process improvement, restructuring control software, etc.)
- Prepare process flow diagrams, schematics, and other project documentation
- Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate designs
- Collaborate with external vendors to identify, evaluate, and integrate their hardware and technologies into Corteva processes
- Assist in installation and validation of equipment into service
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required and at least 5 years of experience in industrial PLC control and automation systems integration in industry. Background in manufacturing is desired
- Experience with control system design and fabrication, including programming of PLCs from scratch, and experience with SCADA systems integration (Inductive Ignition experience is highly desired)
- Experience with Structured Coding (Python Preferred) And Ignition HMI
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge and experience relative to safety and health
- Have the right to work in the U.S. without restriction
