- Project Planning:
Lead the development of the commissioning plan, outlining scope, schedule, resources, and procedures for commissioning the data center's infrastructure; collaborate with design engineers, construction teams, and facility operators. - Coordination:
Coordinate commissioning activities with project stakeholders to align with milestones, including scheduling equipment installations, testing, and integration to minimize disruption. - Vendor Management:
Liaise with equipment vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery, correct installation, and testing per specifications. - System Integration:
Oversee integration of electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, security, and environmental monitoring systems; test interoperability and failover mechanisms. - Testing and Verification:
Oversee functional and performance tests of critical infrastructure components (power distribution, cooling, UPS, generators, data center management software) to meet design specifications. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test procedures, results, equipment specifications, and as-built documentation. - Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans and escalation procedures. - Quality Assurance:
Enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to address deficiencies. - Client Communication:
Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, address concerns, and present resolution plans in a timely and professional manner. - Training and Handover:
Facilitate training for data center operations staff and ensure smooth handover including documentation turnover and final acceptance procedures.
- Bachelor or equivalent;
Master’s degree (MBA) optional - 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with HV substations, MV SWGR, LV SWGR, busway, UPS, generators, PDU, RPP, among others
- NFPA 70E and OSHA 10; completion of all safety certifications
- Proficiency with CAD, Bluebeam, and related tools
- Ability to travel and work on site up to 75%

- Prepare daily on-site reports
- Maintain professionalism in all aspects
- Communicate professionally with GC, EC, and Owner
- Oversee meetings, schedules, and testing
- Ability to create the Final Building report with ECx, MCx and FLS
- Responsible for expense reports and adherence to company policies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Work in all environments and weather conditions depending on location
- Access construction site facilities and wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses); respirator as required
- Work 8–10 hours per day, 40–50 hours per week
