Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer
:
This Control Systems Engineer will perform duties to ensure specification, design and implementation of complex control systems for heating and combustion processes. Initiates the development, testing and implementation of relay bases and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) operator interfaces and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) application software for utility processes, equipment and systems.
- Project management to include specification, design, and implementation of complex control systems for industrial heating and combustion processes.
- Participate in development, testing and implementation of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) operator interfaces and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) application software for heating processes, equipment and systems.
- Maintain existing and develop new PLC ladder logic programs or other high-level language programs.
- Provide engineering support of maintenance activities and initiatives. Provide diagnostic troubleshooting on PLC/SCADA systems.
- Travel will be required. (10 – 20% Service Time possible)
- BS in Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in Control Systems Engineering or Automation Engineering.
- 5 years experience in PLC programming required.
- Knowledge of API, NFPA, CSA, ASME preferred.
- Experience in combustion systems is a plus.
