Location: Churubusco
Position
Technology & Engineering Teacher (CTE/STEM)
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and deliver standards-aligned curriculum integrating engineering design, automation systems, robotics programming, and advanced manufacturing concepts.
- Incorporate project-based learning, industry-relevant problem-solving, and real-world applications into daily instruction.
- Utilize modern instructional technologies, simulation platforms, and/or robotics systems to enhance student learning.
- Maintain program alignment with Indiana Department of Education CTE standards and pathway requirements.
- Collaborate with local business and industry partners to ensure the curriculum reflects current workforce needs and emerging technologies.
- Support development of dual credit, certifications, and/or work-based learning opportunities for students.
- Assist in equipment planning, lab organization, and safety compliance for manufacturing, robotics, and engineering labs.
- Guide students in career exploration related to engineering, automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing fields.
- Work collaboratively with school counselors and administrators to support students.
- Maintain required program documentation, assessment data, and certification records.
- Participate in professional learning for emerging technologies and best practices.
- Foster a classroom culture emphasizing innovation, teamwork, and technical skill development.
- Support recruitment and promotion of engineering, robotics, and manufacturing programs within the school and community.
