Electrical Designer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support the preparation of electrical drawings and technical documentation for industrial and power-related projects in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. This role will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop accurate, high-quality design deliverables.

Location: Mt. Vernon, IN

Employment Type: Contract

• Prepare electrical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
• Develop designs for power distribution and lighting systems
• Create motor control and communications drawings
• Prepare heat tracing and grounding system documentation
• Develop instrument plans, circuit schedules, and instrument loop drawings
• Revise and maintain drawings based on engineering input and project requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
• Experience supporting industrial or power-related projects preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and multidisciplinary teams
