Job Type: Full-time on-site located in either Sullivan, IL or Princeton, KY or Indianapolis, IN or Huntingdon, TN

This is a role ideal for a person that is a strategic communicator who can translate EHS (environmental, health, and safety) concepts into meaningful messages that resonate, are urgent, and elevate safety and environmental performance across all levels of the company and at all our manufacturing operations.
What You’ll DoAs an Environmental, Health, and Safety Leader you’ll:
- Conduct ongoing EHS communications to keep awareness, engagement, and ownership across all Hydro-Gear locations
- Partner with management to continuously improve EHS programs and ensure compliance
- Continuously assess risks, manage incident response, and act decisively to improve EHS performance
- Lead the safety team of EHS Engineer and Occupational Health Nurse. Position reports to the Vice President of Employee Services (Human Resources)
- Travel up to 25% to Midwest manufacturing sites
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field (preferred).
- Foundational experience in EHS principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Experience with audits, inspections, incident investigations
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
- Exceptional written, verbal, and on-camera communication skills
- Confidence in interacting with employees at all levels.
- Strong curiosity, willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions for continuous improvements
- You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values genuine connection and fun
