Responsibilities

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the site's industrial hygiene program within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control workplace health hazards that may result in injury, illness, or environmental harm
  • Conduct industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments, including air sampling, noise monitoring, chemical exposure evaluations, ventilation, and ergonomics
  • Perform risk assessments, hazard analyses, and root cause investigations related to health and safety concerns
  • Develop and deliver site-wide training programs focused on industrial hygiene and HSE topics
  • Maintain accurate records of exposure data, sampling results, and compliance documentation
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to site leadership
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory agency interactions
  • Partner with operations and quality teams to assess health risks associated with manufacturing processes, raw materials, and cleaning agents
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in an HSE role with a strong emphasis on industrial hygiene
  • Demonstrated experience conducting exposure monitoring, sampling, and industrial hygiene assessments
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable occupational health and environmental regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Experience supporting regulated manufacturing operations such as pharmaceutical, chemical, or food environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HSE data management systems
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, or CHMM are preferred
