Modeling and Simulation Specialist
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented specialist to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking member to join our team and be at the forefront of innovation. As a core member, you will assist in the research, design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment.

Responsibilities- Expert in modeling and simulation functions or operations such as exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in various domains.
- Provides supervision and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.
- May support live, constructive, or virtual training.
- Prepare and present comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and presentations on M&S activities and findings.
- Evaluate and recommend new M&S technologies and methodologies that enhance current capabilities and provide higher fidelity results.
- Lead data collection, analysis, and validation efforts to ensure high fidelity and accuracy of simulation models.
- BA/BS degree (or high school + 6 years experience, or associate’s + 4 years experience).
- 12+ years experience in the field or related area.
- Experience using industry‑accepted methods and tools in analyses, including recurring technology assessment.
- Basic application knowledge in modeling and simulation functions or operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience with configuration management tools: GIT, Source Safe, Clear Case, Bit Bucket, Git Hub.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Ansys STK, Solid Edge/Solid Works (or other CAD tools).
- Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining software requirements, technical documentation, user manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, with occasional movement within office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co‑workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
