Project Engineer; Methacrylates

Overview

Project Engineer (Methacrylates) at Mitsubishi Chemical America.

Location:

Memphis, IN. This is a full-time role focusing on leading capital projects and process improvements in a chemical manufacturing environment.

• Lead capital projects from concept to completion, managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project success.
• Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and manage contractors/vendors to meet project specifications.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance every step of the way.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes.

• Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• 5+ years in project management or engineering in a chemical/industrial environment.
• Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

The salary range for this position is $139,100-$146,800. Factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment if an authorization is granted to work outside of the listed location.
