Pay: $85,000.00 - $ per year

This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Indianapolis, Indiana, working closely with an in‑house architecture and structural engineering team in a collaborative office environment.
NoteThis role requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree and 5 plus years of structural engineering building design experience. Professional Engineer licensure or the ability to obtain within 12 months is highly preferred.

Job Description- Lead structural engineering projects from early design through construction
- Prepare preliminary structural concepts and develop construction‑ready designs
- Review building codes and ensure proper implementation throughout the design process
- Coordinate with architects, construction project managers, and engineering partners across disciplines
- Produce structural calculations and guide technical drafting during construction document preparation
- Develop coordinated structural drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy across disciplines
- Support construction administration, including shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with construction teams
- Communicate clearly with drafting staff, clients, and project stakeholders
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- 5 plus years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally in commercial construction
- Experience designing structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and light gauge steel, with a solid foundation design understanding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Revit proficiency preferred, especially in producing construction‑level structural drawings
- Experience with analysis and design tools such as RAM Structural System, SAP
2000, RISA, or similar preferred - Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months is highly preferred
